M. Scott Runnels, DMD, PA

About Dr. Runnels


Dr. Runnels Dr. M. Scott Runnels is a native of the area and a graduate of Choctawhatchee High School. He attended Florida State University where he pursued a degree in biology, and was accepted a year early to University of Alabama at Birmingham's Dental School. Here he received his D.M.D., graduating in the top of his class. Dr. Runnels completed his postgraduate residency in orthodontics at Nova Southeastern in Ft. Lauderdale.

Dr. Runnels is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, Southern Association of Orthodontics, Florida Association of Orthodontics, American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association and Okaloosa-Walton Dental Society.

He enjoys fishing, hunting, surfing, snowboarding, basketball, volleyball and the beach. He is excited about being back in the area and is looking forward to getting involved with local schools, rotary and chamber of commerce.
